RE: does anyone know of a good crypto tracker ?

Hey mate! haha you recognise my face because it's Iggy Pop cover from the album "The Passenger" so it's just a little tribute to him :)
Regarding the API, yes you MUST create an API key that gives read-only permission, this way you can rest assured no funds are compromised. About cryptocompare, you can take a look at the use I gave it here: https://steemit.com/bitcoin/@thepassenger/what-if-you-invested-10usd-on-the-top100-coins-1st-january-2017 Let me know if you need more help with it! best!

thanks Iggy. oh there you go, I thought you looked familiar. To be honest it's not the face I'd associate with Iggy Pop, but now you've said it, I can see it. (young Iggy was a bit before my time)

very kind. I will have a read of your article. always good to get user tips ! I think as Steemit evolves there will be a good case for a searchable repository of defined subjects, rather than trawling through google in the hope of finding something, although I must say steemit articles about blockchain related subjects often rank highly. a good tip for emerging crypto writers

yes you are right! now it's really hard yo find content and catalog, but I guess the platform just can get better! Iggy was also a little bit before me but I've seen him live some times! may the force be with you!
