MBSJ SHUTS DOWN HOUSE MINING OPERATION
Malaysia: In the well-known suburbs of Subang Jaya, a few houses were shut down for running a ming operation in their house. This normally wouldn't be a problem as mining isn't against the law. However the municipal took it upon themselves to shut the mining ring down as there were a number of complaints that it was too noisy and that a lot of people were coming and going from the premises which made local residents feel unsafe and disturbed. There were also reports of poorly constructed walls there were made of wood and the place was deemed a fire hazard with the numerous wires running from place to place.
While mining isn't illegal, we must be mindful of those around us. Cryptocurrencies are currently in a grey area amongst the law and the public eye. Everyone is trying to take a stab at this bubble, saying that it is nothing more than a bull trap and or a scam. It is because of this very reason is why we have to tread carefully to even be ready to pay our taxes if need be. Not to mention being mindful of our surroundings. While we may appreciate the sound of altcoins being mined, people still need their sleep and can be easily disturbed by the loud noise of mining rigs or the numerous people visiting their mining sites.
Let us not forget that our mining rigs may even cause power disruptions due to the power required for mining. This could cause the whole neighbourhood to lose power if the surge of electricity is too great. TheGoTheory wouldn't be surprised if they came down breaking the doors complaining.
Lets be the better ones here and show the masses that we are better than them by not conforming to their system but never forgetting our decorum and manners. It begins with us, the next generation and early adopters of cryptocurrencies.
