interview with Danny from humaniq team

So to introduce myself, I go by the nick “tehmoonwalker” I’ve been trading and studying cryptocurrencys fulltime this year and I am very excited about the humaniq project.
I am very active on twitter (https://twitter.com/tehMoonwalker) with around 7300 followers and my specialty is to find underrated projects among the crypto space.

So let’s get started:

-Dear Danny, can you give us a brief description about the current status of the humaniq development?
The current status of Humaniq development is coming in place. Humaniq team is getting ready for the App releases and will be operating HMQ transactions in 5 white listed countries in Africa that are in compliance with regulations in those local jurisdictions.

-The main focus of the project will be the humaniq app, a very interesting concept, can you tell us what potential you see in them and how they can change the future of finance?
The potential in the Humaniq app is endless for the unbanked this will empower new economies in Africa from the bottom up by making a truly transparent financial and insurance resource available to everyone. The future of finance is going to be all on the blockchain that will enable a more transparent financial system using the Ethereum network the Humaniq app will be the first to truly showcase the potential of blockchain for humanity.

-The biometric sensors seem Very unique and the possibility to use the app without any knowledge, documents or even the ability to read/write is game changing, would you explain this a bit more detailed?
The Humaniq App will be easy to use with just your biometrics from your mobile camera and using your mobile number a new user regardless of their ability to read or write can sign up with the App to get banking access using HMQ. They then will be able to use the messaging feature on the app with emojis built in to make communicating and sending transactions as simple as possible between their contacts.

-How can token holders benefit from the humaniq app and how is the HMQ token used?
As a HMQ token holder you can benefit by the principal of Metcalfe's law states which states that the value of a telecommunications network is proportional to the square of the number of connected users of the system. As more users join the Humaniq ecosystem the HMQ values grows as the usage and demand is increasing. HMQ will be used for easy transactions, P2P loans which token bag holders will be able to benefit, access to health insurance, and the Humaniq ecosystem.

-How do you see the topic of regulation and how is humaniq prepared for it?
Humaniq has been working in compliance with regulations to the local jurisdictions in Africa in these 5 countries Uganda, Zimbabwe, Rwanda, Senegal, and Tanzania. Humaniq also partnered with Regtech start-up Securrency that will be streamlining regulatory compliance by providing an easy path to entrepreneurs and innovators to bring new ideas to the market with just a simple click solution.

-How can the community be a bigger part of humaniq, how do you handle the topic of governance? Would you be interested in cooperation’s with governance projects like districtx or Aragon?
The Community can be a bigger part by following Humaniq on social media and sharing to get the word out. It will take everyone's help to empower the 2.5 billion unbanked with the financial resources they need to succeed. As with governance Humaniq plans to align with the United Nations. As for the corporation with governance projects Humaniq is open to hearing out any proposals.

-Though humaniq is clearly a long-term project, a lot of token holders are a bit disappointed about the current price situation, what would you say to them?
Humaniq is a humanitarian project that is going take time for development and for the Humaniq token holders right now it is still speculation as you have yet seen the App with many ICO happening this year it is easy for the crypto community to forget about Humaniq for another quick profit. I encourage you to look at the current price situation as an opportunity the truth of the matter is the white paper dates where off but with any new blockchain startup it is common to see. As token holders keep in mind that Humaniq will be focused in its own unique market in Africa that stands to benefit the most around the world from equal banking and insurance access on the Ethereum blockchain especially for those unbanked living on less than $2 a day.
