๐ค CRYPTOCURRENCY SPECS FOR INTELLIGENT INVESTING
It is beneficial to keep a collection of information about the cryptocurrencies in your portfolio or the assets you might want to keep an eye out for. This will help you be an intelligent investor. For each coin in the market, a short specs will give you an overview of the true nature of the coin and will give you an idea if you've made a sound investment in a coin. This weeds out the coins which are likely to be a scam.
NEWCYPTOSCAPE - cryptocurrency specs
In hunting for new coins, I visit my personal collected specs of each crypto. and look for those with small max. supply and high community score. I take into account the "newness" of the coin looking at its genesis date and judge its degree of hashing difficulty based on the algorithm being implemented.
The data here are from various sources and is collated to provide an easier overview.
I ordered the coins based on the community score, because that's the most important part of a cryptocurrency, the community that underlies it. The community is the adopter and at the same time the developer of these coins. The rank you can see on the left are the rank based on market capitalization and I find this misleading because of its dependence on the maximum supply.

I really like the concept of rating cryptocurrencies based on their community score. Someone can definitely take this to a higher level by also factoring in the technology score, media score, trending score, and usability score. Investors are always researching cryptocurrencies that will be useful in the future. If web crawlers could be used to compile this information, I think we could have a very profitable and useful website on our hands.
I agree, currently im working on some metrics to determine using probability which coins are most likely a scam.
