Didn't make it in time into the ICO?

With many ICOs selling out within only a few blocks, some of us might want to take another chance to join the hype and buy the tokens as soon as possible when they are still close to ICO price.
It usually takes a few days until Ethereum tokens hit their first exchanges, like Liqui, Binance or EtherDelta.

But as EtherDelta is based on an open source smart contract, you can actually trade ERC20 tokens there before their ticker gets officially added - and can sometimes make a good deal by being earlier than others. Here is a guide on how to do this.

How to trade on EtherDelta before the ticker gets added

1. Go to https://ethplorer.io

2. Enter a token name or ticker into the "Enter tx / address / token name" field and click "Ethplore"

The example shows Blackmoon which is currently not listed on EtherDelta

3. Create the web address

Copy the value in "Contract". Then type in your browser search bar following, with the copied value instead of "Contractaddress": https://etherdelta.com/#"Contactaddress"-ETH
Copy this whole line before pressing Enter!

4. Visit the created web address TWICE

Pressing Enter once should take you to EtherDelta. Now copy and paste the generated web address again in your search bar and press Enter again.

That's it! Congratulations, you should now be able to trade the token on EtherDelta!
