Crypto Currency: Curious Questions from Confusing Soul

I have been in the Crypto space since few months and observing and trying to understand the developments. This world is full of amazing ideas and potential to change the world for good. However, there are several questions bothering this buddy. Would love to hear from you Giants!!!

Death

• There are several big players holding cryptos and you essentially need private keys to access them. But what are the consequences of accidental death of such big investor or investors (like winkelvoss brothers)?

[Considering almost fixed supply, will that money gone from the system forever, since, in the most probable scenario, a person would not have shared his/her private key with anyone? If such is the case, then the price of crypto will go up and up ….]

Identification

• Is there anyone sharing the same feeling I have that national borders; national boundaries will start fading away with more adoption of this technology?

[It seems that we will be no longer able to identify with the Nations. There is no particular Nation we belong to, just a technology we adhere to. So, the next question is, will we be identified with the Technology we choose]

Government owned Currency

• Is there any Government considering launching its own Currency? What will be the implications if Governments start its own crypto currency?

[I highly doubt the Governments’ capacity to enter in such a technicality…. However, Russia seems to have plans to create its own Crypto Currency]

Future

• It is very interesting to forecast as to what will be the result of consolidation of so many currencies and tokens?

[There are thousands of tokens existing and many more are coming. These cannot go for long. There has to be and will be a consolidation. What will be that? Who will survive? Bitcoin, Ehterium, EOS, NEM, NEO or any other? ]!
