RE: Blockchain Tech is Bringing Honesty Back to Charities

in #cryptocurrency7 years ago

I noticed that in Venezuela and Zimbabwe bitcoin price is significantly high. For example a bitcoin is about 7000$ in Zimbabwe. I think I will have to open accounts in those countries.

Thanks

Yes, the problem is that if you open an account in one of these two countries, you will not really be able to purchase any goods and services, unless you want Venezuelan oil, haha, and if you buy bolivars, the only way you can later to buy dollars, it is changed again by bitcoin.

So there are no bureau de change services.?

They only serve to sell, and the government buys them at a price lower than that offered in the market. It may be possible to acquire another type of currency other than dollar, euro or pound, such as the Yuan, but you will never win with the offered rates.

looks like the situation is more complicated than i thought. thanks @vieire for taking the time to explain.
