'Lakshmi' might be India's cryptocurrency
Some reports claimed that govt of India is planning to setup its own cryptocurrency known as 'Lakshmi’.
A govt panel found the idea of setting up and running blockchain for financial services useful.
The cryptocurrency will come under the ambit of RBI and will require amendments in the Currency Act.
Cryptocurrency uses a ledger-like blockchain that will store all the transactions done using it.

It is an excellent new for cryptocurrency lovers. When we are fearing that the china's decision effects much on cryptocurrency, this will give some relief. Hope good and positive steps from indian govt.
