3 crypto-coins to watch
Coins I deem undervalued with long term value, offering something to add to bitcoin.
Any views, esp objections, welcome.
QRL:
Strengths: Long term approach to securing crypto currency against the all powerful quantum computers that pose a substantial and potentially immediate threat to bitcoin.
Peercoin:
Strengths: A strong community of developers with well thought out ideas looking at long-term development of dentralised power - good at countering the centralisation of mining and power which bitcoin struggles with.
ETC:
Strengths: A proven resilliant coin when bitcoin and the market dip, often ETC will stay positive, this is due to its popularity and commitment by developers.
I would choose eth over etc
etc kind of abandoned it seems
I would say they have both been growing in development and value. But the nature of this growth for ETH has been prolific and for ETC it has been robust.
If you want robust have a look at ARDOR
Thanks for info ,up voted
Ether Classic is loves <3
for sure!
What do you guys think of ByteCoin (BCN)?
I haven't been following it, but I have heard a lot of hype around it. I based my post on unique points of value, I'd also be interested to find out what this is for bytecoin beyond speculation?
its one of the many reported in the webbot report by clif high...with huge potential...
Bytecoin is an open decentralized cryptocurrency. Anyone interested can join Bytecoin network and take part in currency development. As well as the Internet, Bytecoin is international by its nature.
Bytecoin allows safe and secure transactions around the globe and offers the convenience of instant fee-free money transactions.
crossing my fingers and hoping ......with all the banks closing.....
I like Peercoin because it was the first Proof of Stake coin available and Ethereum in the future would be looking to do something similar to that as well.
But Ethereum Classic I don't see any real use case for it. It hasn't got any software application or Dapp's being built off it like ethereum. It is basically in my HUMBLE opinion riding the popularity wave off ethereum because they share the same name. If you know of better uses for ETC than ETH let me know.
ETH contracts could migrate to ETC if the development is strong enough. ETC is by no means dead - but as you put it - its unique strength is also questionable -

When THE Microsoft Ethereum Evangelist, who is responsible for informing and education Corporations about the Ethereum tells you personally to your face that ETC is no good you listen. As an investment option sure ETC all power to you. But as a platform for software development. I fail to see the innovation.
Also check your sources for credibility the writer of that article is this guy " About JP Buntinx

that isn't anyone who is responsible for speak to and education corporations about the technology behind Ethereum. Sounds like a punter convinced ETC is going to be bigger than ETH because he has invested his life savings into it.
Thanks for the heads up - nearly everyone who writes about crypto is vested - none more than the developers
PS I have also like all your comments and I have followed you. Keep up the good work.
It seems that every altcoin has its difficulties to scaling up, mostly the solution is POS.But it is hard to control the speed of the inflation in POS, so lastly a new altcoin will come to the market for alleviating the problem. It is just a vicious cycle....
It also allows for innovation - as most new coins offer an alternative which can be tested on a small scale (such as segwit for litecoin) or as an alternative in its own right. Or increasingly as something that can be pinned to and interwoven with bitcoin.
Thanks for the heads up, really useful j for and I will keep an eye on them.

Very good article. Same thoughts here. It surprises me people don't do their due dilligence on the coins they invest in. How can you invest in something if you don't know it's Trustworthiness. Does anyone know about: https://www.coincheckup.com. I don't know any other site that gives such good inisghts in the team, the product, advisors, community, the business and the business model, etc. Go to: https://www.coincheckup.com/coins/Peercoin#analysis To see the: Peercoin Investment research report.
