A New Look At Shopping
Internet has provided us with great opportunities, including shopping online, without leaving home. Today the online shopping industry is very developed, there are millions of stores and people can buy different products all over the world. But despite the variety of shops there are still problems associated with online shopping. When ordering goods online, a person can eventually receive a thing that he or she does not need, because in the online store the good looks different. So one can get a thing of a different color or size, which does not suit the buyer. The fact is that there are their own scales of sizes in every store and every manufacturer and it's very difficult for a simple person to orient in this variety of sizes. Buying a thing online, person risks getting a product that he or she does not need or it does not fit. Returning these goods back to the store often causes big problems, because overhead and shipping in this case usually lie on the buyer, as the return is his fault, and not every online store takes the goods back.
So despite all the convenience of online shopping, there are enough problems in it, and until now it have been impossible to eliminate them.
But Raincheck has found its own approach and solution to this problem. Raincheck decided to link online and offline shopping. That the women no longer have to return back their favorite dress or swimsuit or any other product. On the Raincheck platform there are goods of more than 10 000 stores. If, while looking through catalogs of shops, a woman finds a dress that she liked, the system will automatically find the same dress in other online stores, so she could compare their conditions and choose the most acceptable option. Also, the system will inform her about the nearest offline store, where she can try on this dress and determine the size and color. Thus, when buying a dress or any other thing in an online store, the buyer will know exactly its size, color and will be 100% sure that this product is suitable and will not have to return it. The same applies to any other thing, not just clothes.
But this is not all.
Already now on the Raincheck platform there are more than 10 000 stores. Buyers do not need to have 10,000 discount cards and return cashback for each of these stores. They will have one single bonus card and a general loyalty program for all stores. The loyalty program will be credited and paid in the RAIN tokens, after which the tokens will be directly convertible to the bank card from which the buying was made. Also, buyers will be able to make suggestions for adding new stores, product categories or for improvements.
RAIN tokens are the main means of payment on the Raincheck platform. In addition to loyalty programs, a referral fee for attracting new members to the platform and returning cashback for purchases will be paid in tokens.
RAIN tokens are based on the Stellar protocol. Unlike the Ethereum network, whose bandwidth is very limited, and the commissions for the traffic of tokens are high and constantly increasing, the Stellar protocol is specifically designed for micro payments, has high bandwidth and low commissions.
The Raincheck platform already exists. It has appeared in 2015 and become the world's first platform that linked online and offline commerce. At the moment there are more than 10 000 stores on the platform. The platform has patented technologies and licenses for work, as well as numerous prestigious international awards received at different times. In 2016, IBM World became the partner of Raincheck.
One can download the free Raincheck application on Google Play and Apple Store. There are plugins for Chome and Safary browsers for working with the platform. Raincheck founders have many years of experience, both in the field of commerce and entrepreneurship and in the development and promotion of successful start-ups.
Thus, the Raincheck platform will be further developed to receive and work with tokens, will be developed and improved on the basis of an already existing project with a huge base of existing customers and a large number of online stores. Now presale is carried out. One can buy RAIN tokens with a 30% discount. In the 4th quarter, the main sale of tokens will take place. 2,000,000,000 RAIN tokens will be issued, of which 700,000,000 are distributed at an initial price of 0.04 $. Soft cap is 6 million dollars, hard cap - 28 million dollars.
