The petrodollar regime is under attack

India is looking to get friendlier with its regional allies and in such it has proposed to join in the dumping of the dollar to avoid the potential aggressive economic pressures Washington loves to use on its friends and foes. China, Russia, Venezuela, Iran and now India are part of an evergrowing group intending to free themselves from the economic imperialism of the united states. There are also rumors that the European union is pursuing alternative methods to trade outside of the Swift system and away from the dollar.

The transition away from the dollar will happen slowly but its effects will be felt globally.
