The Ethereum Hard Fork Is Coming! Watch it LIVE here.
The Ethereum hard fork is coming! Once block number 4,370,000 is mined, the Byzantium code will be operational and (hopefully) all Ethereum miners, nodes, and users will migrate to the new version. Of course, if enough resources are still mining the existing fork, it will continue to have value. Yes, that means the potential for another coin. A remote possibility owing to some pretty careful management by the Ethereum team.

My pleasure! I will be watching it closely for any after-effects. There is a whole lot of forking going on in the next few weeks.
It seems like most of the community is behind the fork so I hope it will not split. Well if it's split, ETH will drop and it will be a buy opportunity =D
Seems to have gone off reasonably well. But there may be a buying opportunity anyway as BTC sucks all of the oxygen out of the market.
After the BTC fork, ETH might be the new El Dorado because of its new efficient fork
