I know this article is old, but I wanted to say that it's author's monero stratum pool still works though some updating is needed which I'd be happy to share with the author via an update to his github; I even did it as a docker using some templates a couple of other folks posted. I do have 1 question that am hoping the author can reply with and that's how to modify the pool to mine solo on other alt-coins that are cryptonote-based; specifically, Conceal CCX and Masari.
