As a admitted cyber-punk enthusiast I'm happy AR/VR is finally becoming a thing, it really is the future.

Of course it comes with its own particular set of issues, how will it affect humans, will it save us from the isolating disconnect that the current generation of social media seems to have as a side effect? I tend to think it will bring the human connection element back into system hopefully.

In regards to the investment side of things, I was one of people that played the beta of 'entropia universe' or 'project entropia' as it was called at the time. And remember when the first sales of virtual land took place. In both cases the people that made the investment found out it was a sound decision, NeverDie the avatar that bought a planet within the game for something like 130,000 USD (if I remember correctly), has now multiplied his initial investment many many times over apparently, so if done correctly investment in virtual property can be more lucrative than real world property. I'm certainly interested in where this goes :)
