I am not an Expert of Crypto Currency, but I love the blockchain and I have faith in cryptocurrencies. Long ago I decided to start a blog on blogger or WordPress but not started as I don't have that much of great writing skills. At that time I wrote my first article on Cryptocurrency but not published. Then I found the Steemit the great platform where I can write my thoughts and honestly I don't have any fear that I will not write great. I just write it here as I like and thanks to steemit & great community I always get a good response. So I thought let's publish this one too which I not posted earlier.

I am going to make this as easy as possible for you guys, but before we get started I want to share with you two important things before investing in crypto currency.

1: There is no physical cash credit cards or banks involved in cryptocurrency. This is virtual currency and anything expected in Crypto Currency. There is no helpline where you can call when your transaction got stuck.

Let’s start the investment guide stepwise,

5 Steps for Investing in Crypto Currency for Beginners

STEP 1: Invest in Top 50 Coins (Less Pump & Dump)

It means the top ranking crypto coins are stable and there we can see less fluctuation in the rate as compared to lower ranking coins.

“High Profit = High Risk, Less Profit = Less Risk”

STEP 2: Research and Understand Algorithm or Framework of your coin.

You are advised to stay tuned with crypto currency news and also stay tuned with your coin’s forums. Each coin is based on different framework and have different algorithm, so research their projects by reading whitepaper.

STEP 3: Before Choosing any Company must check their authenticity on different Crypto Currency Forums.

You Need

• A Crypto Currency Wallet
• A Crypto Currency Exchange for Trading

STEP 4: Bitcoin is the mother of all Crypto Currency

This is first Crypto Coins which comes in the market and have value like a mother for all other coins. Many other coins have similar feature like bitcoin and as per my knowledge that are invented or introduced to strengthen bitcoin. You always deal in bitcoin and don’t invest all your bitcoins in alt coins.

Always hold some part of your investment in bitcoin for long term investment. (I suggest atleast 40% of your investment)

STEP 5: Invest in ICO

ICO is an opening of a new coins in the market and best time to predict any crypto currency. If you think the coin has potential market and valuable plans for future than Invest in ICO. It’s a crowd funding stage where you can buy share that are called tokens in crypto currency. Don't fall in to scam ICOs, always do proper research.

My Personal Guide,
There are 3 types of investment in crypto currency.

1. Long term Investment
2. Short term Investment
3. Intra-Day Trading
   

All Crypto Currencies are based on some technology, so before investing in any coin you must go through their roadmap and whitepaper. From roadmap you can get the most important dates of different event and at the same time you can see fluctuation (rise) in the currency on event date.

Long term:

In long term you can hold that coins which have potential or strong portfolio to rise in near future. You can easily trap crypto currency graph on coingy.com and other exchange wallets which shows crypto currency graph.

Time Period: 3 months to 1+ years

Short term:

In short term you can buy those coins which have coming events stay tuned with crypto currency news and blogs for latest updates. If you are successful in short term, then it will be more profitable then long term.

Time Period: 1 week to 3 months

Intra-day trading:

This is daily trading and most profitable way but high risk involved in this trading.

Time Period: 1 Day
