  • Today I am happy to announce the inclusion of @philakonecrypto. He is a former mechanical engineer, turned full-time cryptocurrency trader, with a major focus on helping the community and teaching. He wants to provide a positive and reassuring environment where crypto can flourish with like-minded people. His focus is on short-term day and swing trading positions with favorite topics such as Elliot Wave and RSI. You can finde some more details on him in his introduction post here
I really appreciate having him here as he is very active and supportive and brings in quite an interesting view on things.
  • Interesting to see that we have two bulls and three bears. I guess we get closer to the bottom.

Analysts key statements:

  • Tone: Weekly chart stays bearish, daily - descending triangle is confirmed by third touch of 10'000 support. Expecting another "dead cat" bounce toward the 10'900. After that he expects we are going down breaking support and toward 7'500 (around the 10th-12th of Feb). So he stays pretty much consistent with his scenario from yesterday.
  • @haejin: Stays bearish with his scenario still in play. Volume is decreasing - he sees sellers will be out of firepower soon. Apex (decision point) between 4th through the 12th.
  • @ew-and-patterns: Not much action in price for today. ABC correction ongoing. BTC going to 9'600 and than up to 10'800. His primary count (bullish) is still im play and only gets invalid falling below 9'300.
  • @lordoftruth: Fundamentally he sees a rally of bitcoin not before the 16th of Feb - after Chinese New Year. Still mixed technical signals. Bullish trend for today. Trading between barriers 9'300 and 10'700 expected.
-@philakonecrypto: Looking at shorts vs long positions on bitfinex it seems the bears are pushing the market down. Also a bearish flag forms on the RSI that support the bearish outlook. He sees support at 9'000 and than 8'000 (high volume zones). In about 1-2 weeks he assumes that we than change into a bull market (so around 7-14th).

Overall sentiment: bearish
(last: bearish)

Definition

  • light blue highlighted = all content that changed since last update.
  • sentiment = how in general the analysts see the current situation (bearish = lower prices more likely / bearish = higher prices more likely)
  • target 1 = the next price target an analysts mentions
  • bottom = price target analyst mentions as bottom
Both target are probably short term (so next few days/weeks)
  • lower/upper barrier = Most significant barriers mentioned by the analysts. If those are breached a significant move to the upside or downside is expected. It does not mean necessary that the sentiment will change due to that (e.g. if upper resistance is breached it does not mean that we automatically turn bullish).

Great analysis as usual.

It is good to see more analyst made it to your list. The next few days will be interesting.

To those downvoting this post (@thecyclist, @iflagtrash, @randomthoughts, @ngc, etc.)): It seems like this post brings value to quite a few steemians but still you are down voting this post. I am absolutely fine with expressing different opinion but assuming that you have the best interest for the steemit community it would help me if you than also comment why you feel to downvote this post. That gives me the chance to enhance my post in the future and therefore add more value to steemit community. I would highly appreciate that. I am also on steemit.chat in case you want to get in touch directly.

They are worried that your posts are going to attract those 20k+ users interested in crypto. And that is a huge revenue they do not want to share.

I m also mechanical engineering Turing to crypto trader slowly slowly

Software engineering making my way into crypto slowly but surely

I only can say thank you! Because this is an amazing value you're bringing here and I'm much more calm seeing such unanimity in most of the analysis. Just wait then ^^

Thank you - glad it provides benefit to you.

Thanks for adding philakone. He is a great teacher and very active. Especially in times like we have right now, he shows up and posting very detailed scenarios. What i personally also appreciate: He is not only educating but also entertaining, which opened my eyes in a few moments (think of emotional reaction of the masses). I can highly recommend to subscribe to his channels!

I agree - he is entertaining! And the good comments he gets here speak for them self.
Thanks for sharing!

Congratulations to Philakone to be included here. I can’t comment about the other two since I’ve not “met” them, but between Tone, Haejin and Philakone, whom I’ve been following for a long while since their YouTube and twitter sharing, my favorite will be Philakone! And for reasons I’ll elaborate further as I follow you too, famunger! Thanks for consolidating the best here!

One other analysts who share great TA videos and teachings is TradeDevil, not sure if he is on steemit but his EW rocks imho too.

Thanks for sharing - will look into TradeDevil - if you have the chance drop him a comment to get in contact with me.

Philakone will contribute positively to the content here.

Another very informative and helpful post by @famunger! This is very helpful for people like me who doesn't have much spare time to study TAs. Also, congratulations @philakonecrypto for getting added to this very amazing summary of TAs.

Looks like I'll have to keep my fiat until at least 7th of Feb. before I buy btc again :)

Thank you. I'm happy to provide insight and help the community.
