Introducing Myself And DIY Tube Video Community My New Job

in #cryptocurrency7 years ago (edited)

Hello everyone, I am the marketing manager for DIY Tube Video which pays in altcoins for people to upload videos, comment and interact on the community pages. I felt that this was a perfect fit here on steemit since everyone is already comfortable with cryptocurrency.

Let me first introduce myself.

I am Troy, originally from YouTube where I have a channel with over 100,000 subscribers. YT has been my full time job for over five years now. But recently YT has cut many people's pay so low that you cannot afford to make it full time anymore.

I had to find another way to survive.

I am a bit of a mix of outdoor enthusiast, computer geek, car lover and more. Its an odd mix. I can be just as happy in front of a computer as I can out in a rustic cabin in the woods freezing during a winter storm. Thats why I have three channels on YT. One for each part of me.

I figure the outdoor lover part of me comes from the little bit of native American in my blood. I have always loved the outdoors.

I also love off grid living and using natural energy. I cannot explain where that came from really. I have always loved to experiment with solar panels starting when I was young. I would take apart solar calculators and see what I could do with the solar cells.

Below is a photo of me putting together my fully off grid wood shop. Oh, yeah, I love wood working too.

Back to the story...

I started DIY Tube Video Community back in November but it has since grown to be larger than myself. Now I am a full time employee of the company which is growing into a world-wide team. I have been taken onto the project as the marketing manager.

We have a software developer in S America, beta tester in New York, financial support, social networking specialist, freelance workers and more. DIY Tube has really started to take off.

DIY Tube is meant to be a place for all the channels YT has cut recently. Many thousands of channels have lost their partnership privileges and lost all their income. One of my three channels took the hit as well. Unlike YouTube, DIY Tube Video Community has no minimum requirements for someone to start making money.

On the contrary, when you create your channel and upload your first 10 videos, you will receive 1,000 DIYT Coins. You get another 1,000 coins just for bringing over your first 100 subscribers.

On DIY Tube Video Community you get paid in DIY Tube Coins, an altcoin, which is used for transactions on the site. This coin is based on the Ethereum blockchain and is written on an ERC20 contract. This makes DIYT Coins fully compatible with existing Ethereum wallets.

A bit more about myself and how I got into all of this.

I was doing well full time on YouTube for a few years but about two years ago YT started to reduce my income. They did not explain a thing but, although my numbers were going up, my pay was going down. I kept going full time in hopes that things would balance themselves out a bit.

But back in November, I sensed something very bad was in the air. I cannot say exactly what or why but I felt YT was coming to a bad point. I had about 2,000 videos and I did not want to lose all those years of work for nothing.

And YouTube had been telling us one thing while, at the same time, doing the opposite. Content creators were losing control of their channels more and more all the time. I wont go into all the details but many of you know what I am talking about.

I started the idea of DIY Tube Video Community but it was too big for me. And with my then greatly reduced pay of about 1/5- 1/6 what it used to be, there was no way I was able to make this happen on my own.

So a team started to form and now we have the DIY Tube Video Community as you see it today.

I still make occasional videos on YT but it no longer pays the bills. Most of my videos are now uploaded to DIY Tube these days in hopes of the DIYT Coin going to the moon.

On DIY Tube Video Community everyone can get paid.

You get paid for commenting, thumbs up, video views and other interaction on the site. This is a step up from other video platforms.

The idea was to give people a place to share their content and get paid.

Once the ICO goes live in May, the plan is to invest part of the money raised back into the community in order to spread the wealth some. So get on board now.

I will share more details later as time goes on.

Please follow this channel and learn more about the new video sharing community which pays you to interact.

Hi @diy-tube-video welcome to steemit, i hope you enjoy here, have fun. Don't get tired writing an article. You got an upvote from me :)

Thank you for the welcome and the vote :)

This comment has received a 0.17 % upvote from @speedvoter thanks to: @vinzie1.

its really sad when you have to buy votes just to make yourself look good. if you had good content and was not trying to always scam people then you would get votes without having to buy them...

remember everything you do is in the block chains....

As the marketing manager for DIY Tube Video explain the following:

Who is the individual in the photo? Who does he represent and what is his relationship to you?

When the channel owner uploads a video who owns the video - you or the owner?

Do your recieve - now or in the future - any Google Adsense payments for their videos?

Why do your content creators get paid with CryptoCon coins when you get paid in dollars?

Hello 'errybuddy

I'm the CEO and just fired this guy please ignore the content here...

SCAM!

So now dick head claims to be "little bit of native American in my blood."
What a joke! He forgot to tell everyone he is also afraid of the dark, sees Bigfoot, little green men, chooses to associate with a pedophile and has never done an honest days work in his life. This is just the latest in perpetual scams.
