Building A Four GPU Mining Rig With Used Gaming Motherboard
I got a second hand Gigabyte gaming motherboard and built a mining rig with it. The motherboard came with CPU, cooler and RAM along with a bunch of other computer parts so I got a good deal.
Usually I first set up a new mining rig with a single card and installed Windows 10 Pro from a USB stick. Then I ran my mining software and MSI Afterburner to test out the card for a while. On this board I installed the first card right onto the motherboard directly and then got Windows installed.
After testing it in Afterburner to see that it was installed and could be adjusted there, I then installed another card and rebooted the computer.
I did this until I had all four GPUs installed and running properly.
When installing a graphics card onto a mining rig, you will often see a black screen for periods of time. Depending on the speed of your hardware, this can take quite a while. You may think the computer has frozen up or quit working but just let it sit for a while and be patient. Often the screen will come back on when the software has been properly installed.
This Gigabyte gaming motherboard has 5 PCIe slots but I could only get four to work together at any given time. I tried different slots, risers and cards but nothing helped me use all the slots. (That was not on this video though).
I was finally happy to settle with four cards on this mining rig.
Once I got the rig fully set up, I got my mining software going and was very happy to see a lot of green shares on the screen. This is always a happy sight to see on a new mining rig.

You're not "that large" @thediyworld, @diy-electronics.
Your or a proxy buys subscribers every day at approximately 70 subs per day!

Your so-called "nasty groups trolls" are just intelligent critical thinking people that have been victimized by you Troy Reid,
and are calling out your lies, deceptions, contradictions and scams here so others won't be the next victim.
Yes, many of the members of the website http://www.troybusters.com are generous people who once tried to befriend Mr. Reid and sent him gifts of tools and other useful items for a homestead as well as gifts of money... only to be blocked from Mr. Reid's channel if they dared to question why the item they sent was never seen in use after the initial unboxing. Or blocked if they dared to question something on his channel that just didn't seem right. Mr. Reid has proven to be a narcissistic USER of people through his Youtube channel for the past 6 years and has made dozens of "enemies" who became disillusioned with the treatment they received from Mr. Reid.
I noticed you Up-Voted this post with four (4) of your Steemit accounts Troy Reid.

The only way to make a few cents because you fail to on your own merits.
BTW, has any sucker joined you in this one sided venture with you?
At least you have a way to scam/force people to pay your electric bill now.
