Eos is much more centralized relative to Ethereum in the sense that is promisses to use 21 data centers to validate the transactions which gives the power away for the other transaction participants, however in in the case of commiting fraud among the data centers, an almost instant replacement of the frauded data center will take place and very discretely a new data center for validating the transactions will take place.
