XVG- Verge crypto has another 51% attack!
Verge has succumbed to another 51% attack. Apparently this is a second attack in the matter of a few weeks. A vulnerability called time malleability was exposed in the code, where the hacker could forge erroneous timestamps and fork the verge Blockchain. This kind of an attack is scary and highlights the nascent stage that we are still in in terms of the cryptocurrency space.
I believe that Verge is and will always be a shitcoin, which the developers didnt pay heed to. That has indirectly caused losses in investor wealth.
Someone is trying to clean house of shitcoins...
