Cryptocurrency in INDIA - The Bitcoin Conundrum

in #cryptocurrency7 years ago (edited)

Recently there has been so much attention generated regarding Bitcoin all over the world that every Government has had something or the other to say about BITCOIN! India is no different. Although I never expected the Indian government to have full knowledge of the technology behind the Bitcoin Phenomenon, what I did not expect was a very prudish attitude towards it. The current Government is understood to be business or rather small business friendly. It believes in proper taxation and growth for the nation. However, being a supporter for such a long time I now see that when the true test comes all governments in India are the same. They are aligned very strongly with large businesses and the Banks that have made it a regular habit of loosing huge amounts of money and then requesting the Government for aids.

All of this would be fine if this wasn't being generated from the hard earned tax payers money. There has been a flurry of activity in and around the world of BLOCKCHAIN and it has created a thriving network of intelligent people trying to constructively disrupt this dishonest syndicate of the Banks and the Government where transparency of operation is never an option. We as the saving middle class of society, who set one goal at a time for their larger expenses like buying a house or a car or "Donation" to get our children enrolled in a decent school are the ones that are the most trampled upon in this country. If you are a middle income salaried person you have to pay both income tax and the indirect taxation on each and every item that you buy in the market. The astounding audacity of the government when deciding budgets strikes me every year. Inflation has devalued the Indian rupee continuously and the Purchasing power is decreasing with every passing day. The Banks have lowered the interest rates on the savings accounts, the fixed deposits, the recurring deposits and every other deposit you can think of. The excuse was that demonetization has brought in a lot of capital into banks and they are not lending enough.

A disaster is not when something that happens suddenly and a lot of people are hurt, that's a tragedy, a disaster is when people are aware of a looming and impending doom and are doing nothing to correct it. That's the status today. We only speak of development for the sake of speeches, while the reality looms clearly in front of our eyes. Don't believe me? Take a look at this article:

So what can we do? We the people who have lost the powers of democracy and are puppets in the hands of the rich and powerful. We need to embrace the block chain and take control of the lifeline of our society. Maybe this post will not reach many, but even if it can change the perspective of one person I consider myself successful. Take your money more seriously and see where its going. Is it going to the people who deserve it or to the people who have more than 99% of the population.
