USURPAN IDENTITY SCAMPERS TO MEMBERS OF THE BLOCKCHAIN SEELE PROJECT AND STEAL $ 2 MILLION
Another scam around an ICO has been made with 2 million dollars in ethers. Seele's Initial Currency Offering was the object of two scammers who, posing as people involved in the project, managed to receive money from taxpayers before the round began.
The two imposters made use of the company's Telegram channel, pretending to be users @NicSmith and @SeeleSupport to write privately to hundreds of users who sent their cryptocurrencies hoping to receive the ERC-20 cards of this project in exchange, believing that it was an exclusive pre-sale for some investors. The @NicSmith account was posing as Dr. Nick Smith, who is a project data analyst.
Upon detecting the scam, the company ruled in this regard warning investors not to continue sending their ethers to scammers.
Immediately, the accounts of these users were removed from the Seele Telegram group, although it was suspected that they had powers to manage the group, as well as another user known as Dan. However, in Seele they assure that the scammers are not representatives of the project, in spite of the doubts.
