Three largest holders of BUILDTEAM agree not to outbid other participants in first auction
Hi everyone, I've got some great news for those of you who have already bought some BUILDTEAM tokens or are thinking about getting involved. Myself, @CoinHawk and @Mildfun are currently the biggest holders of BUILDTEAM eligible to participate in the monthly auctions ...
The three of us will hold off on bidding until August 6, at which point, we will limit our bids to the same size as the highest bidder. This will ensure that all the early adopters of BUILDTEAM tokens are amply rewarded for their efforts. It also means the highest bidder will receive just as much Steem as me, @CoinHawk and @Mildfun.
I'm not sure how big the pot is going to be exactly, but there's rumours floating round it will be substantially more than 1000 Steem ... Stay tuned for the official announcement from the @buildteam account on August 3.
If you are looking to buy some BUILDTEAM, it is probably a good idea to do it before August 3, as demand is likely to pick up once the pot is announced. BUILDTEAM is currently trading at about $1.20 on the BTS market and $1.10 on the SBD Market.
That's me for the day folks, back with another market wrap tomorrow!
Missed the original BUILDTEAM announcement?
Here's the TL;DR:
- Existing Supply = 17 000
- Maximum Supply Cap = 1 000 000
- Maximum of 5 000 tokens issued each month
- Holders can bid for a stake of BuildTeam's monthly profits
- Tokens used in bidding recycled, subtracting from new issue

Excellent! Will be looking into picking up some BUILDTEAM. Can someone explain how the bidding process will work, when, and where it will take place?
good idea great job.
Thanks Shaheer!
Thank you for posting this article at this time
The fact that you helped me a lot
Followed ^_^
Not a problem - have you got yourself some BUILD?
My dear friend wanted such information to buy some BUILD , I will tell him
Awesome, thanks buddy :)
You're welcome
Can you check out my blog ?
So walk me through this. If I had say 200 BuildTokens, whats the potential return on investment if I bid them all? If I bid all 200 ($1.20 each) that would be about $240. I could potentially get 500 steem in exchange?
Potentially, it's very hard to say atm. There are currently 2800 tokens eligible for bidding in circulation, but it is impossible to say who's going to bid (burn), who's going to hodlor and how big the pot is ...
Quite an interesting game with these BuildTokens. To bid or to hodl... That is the question... A puzzling one indeed.
Another question. I saw that BUILDTEAM is available at openledger.info
Will the same be available to be bought at open market like Bittrex, CoinExchange, Poloniex or even for that matter on blocktrade.us for easy buy and sell?
That is for these exchanges to decide. Openledger is using the bitshares dex so they have it by default.
Great. However, I believe that the developer has to approach the exchange to get their tokens listed.
Yeah Poloniex for example accepts recommendations.
If the token is getting a bit more volume and you want to see it we will get in contact with exchanges. But my guess is we are too small for now.
Yeah I'd really like to see the token on Bittrex ... hey why stop there? why not Bitfinex? :P
We'd need a lot more volume and community interest!
How many BuildTeam tokens are you holding bulleth? Is this information private?
About 500 - I had closer to 1000, but distributed 450 to cool people around Discord :)
It's all public - you can see the hold list down the bottom at cryptofresh (It seems to down atm though)
Very cool, thank you! :)
looking forward to bit the little BUILDTEAM coins that I could afford. thanks for this project really sounds fun. i bought the coins as easy as i could
Nice work! Bear in mind you don't have to bid, if the pot announced is too small you can just hodl for the next pot!
Looking forward to it @bulleth . When would first round be expected ? Nvm .. just got my on answer .. lol . Cheers
I don't understand how the bidding process works. Can you please explain mate?
so good idea great job and thank.
