CryptoCurrency - Unsustainable! Why Mining needs to shift to Farming
If we where to look at the cryptocurrency space as nothing more than a projection of our culture and its values we can see that it is showing us a path-forward a road less traveled.
As I write we are seeing a cryptocrash based on what I would say is nothing more than greed running the space as a gaming casino vs what the blockchain and crypto-space offers for a revolutionary movement. I digress.
My thoughts are on the way bitcoin and other alt-currencys are being generated through a process called mining. If we took snapshot of our earth we can see that we have destroyed the planet with our greed and resource extraction from mining. Why on earth are we seeing the blockchain/bitcoin as a revolutionary movement when its using archaic concepts like MINING? Does anybody care? Yes we can talk about how the Blockchain can help via article>> Clean Energy, powered by Blockchains

What we are completely missing the boat on is how wasteful and energy consumptive mining cryptocurrency's are. It would be a different story if we had the forethought of when we build huge solar array systems that we build cool efficient mining operations that working with regenerative energy but for the most part we are not doing this!
So if we search more about what the future of cryptocurrency's offer is what I would call Farming vs Mining and when get into concepts such as Proof Of Space or Proof of Stake where you can hear talk of "Plots" being used which in a organic sustainable farming concept is the wave of the future for cryptocurrency.

I think the first ICO and or organization that comes up with a truly sustainable farming operation for cryptocurrency space is the coin/token of the future.
You quoted two of my posts in your article. Thank you. :)
