Why Some Crypto Currencies Won't Survive...

Hello everyone...

The cryptocurrency and block-chain evolution is an amazing technological development for that masses. It has made people get out of debt and some have even prospered with them, but the biggest face-palm moment is going to hit everyone when people in the Initial Coin Offering (ICO) hysteria realize that if a crypto-coin does not function as its intended primary role, which is as an unit of exchange it is just going to fade away and be forgotten, meaning if it is not used as a facilitator for supply and demand economics for goods and or services, it's just going to fail no matter how good the idea behind it is.

The basic function of money is to facilitate as an unit of exchange for goods and services. Remember that Bitcoin started out so worthless back then that 10,000 BTC bought only two average pizzas.

Remember most of the coins in the picture? My point exactly.

Don't get me wrong I am not anti crypto-currencies, in fact I appreciate the diversification of currency and money,
but you've got to be able to buy something with it, or convince someone to accept it as having value. Sadly, a few cryptos with great ideas are just going to fail the hype that they sell because no one wants them as money.

So to avert some of that from happening , somebody's got to sell something for new cryptos that someone else believes is probably worthless...(lolz) I recommend starting with small, cheap, unwanted stuff, just like Bitcoin did back then...

If this post makes you feel pessimistic on ICOs, you shouldn't let it, for let me remind you of the the old fairy tale of Jack & The Beanstalk, where Jack traded his cow for beans that his father said were worthless which eventually led to the goose that lays the golden eggs.

There were major ups and downs in Jack's story, so also will there be major ups and downs in cryptocurrencies.

So to answer my own damn question. Why Some Crypto Currencies Won't Survive...
Is simply because of the fact that they forsake the basics of supply and demand economics. If you don't use it as payment then it isn't money...

Thank You & Enjoy Yourselves...
