My opinion about mining cryptocurrency at home.
We have March 2018. Recently, crypto-currency mining has reached the peak of popularity, all caused by the bull market. Since the first cryptocurrency Bitcoin has been created, anyone who has the right equipment can dig BTC. At the beginning, the extraction of Bitcoins took place using processors on ordinary computers, later as the difficulty started to increase, digging on the processors ceased to be profitable. Everyone switched to digging with the help of graphics cards. During the last bubble on Bitcoin in 2013, the profitability of digging on BTC graphics cards also ceased to be profitable and everyone started to kick using special machines called ASICs. Then came the blow and it turned out that some ASICs are no longer able to pay off, and that they are only suitable for digging Bitcoins, you can not even sell them at a reasonable price. At present, they mainly earn large farms on digging Bitcoins that have access to very cheap electricity. At home, digging BTC is completely unprofitable. At that time, there were also a lot of companies that made their computing power available for digging, so we did not have to buy our own excavator, we only bought shares in kopani. Most of these companies due to the drop in the profitability of digging or because of the predetermined scam did not survive the test of time and some customers have lost their money. . While BTC pays to dig only on specialized machines, other cryptocurrencies can still be excavated using graphics cards. What is decisive, because after digging equipment we can sell at a reasonable price, and not as in the case of ASIC machines in the price of "scrap". Note, however, that once Bitcoins also kicked only with the help of graphics cards and hardly anyone imagined that there will be special arrangements that will replace them. But we can not quite rule out digging crypts as a way of earning money. If we are passionate about computers and cryptocurrency. If we like to assemble equipment ourselves and have fun in overclocking cards and optimizing the operation, and if we have enough time, adequate space and have the necessary capital to buy an excavator, this is a chance that we will be able to feel proud watching our excavators work for us, and By the way, we will earn some money on it. I invite you to comment, watch and vote on the post :)
The problem regarding mining is that it is only interesting with a bullish price, unless you are a miner that has some cash and can wait for the right moment to cash in. I am afraid of the Bitcoin market since there is allot of inexperienced traders inside that market, therefor I prefer other crypto´s like Ethereum, Monero and Ripple.
