Cryptocurrency: more of the same?

Now, here me out.

I like crypto. I've grown to like it a lot, actually.

Although most crypto points towards a decentralized cash future, I'm noticing a lot of the same problems pop up with it that pop up with the current FIAT system the world is using.

Namely, people are greedy, they beg, and crypto is currently situated in such a way that the currencies are not going to be equally distributed among the population once they go mainstream.

So what will happen when a cryptocurrency is in the hands of a small amount of people, once it goes mainstream?

Same shit, different coin, that's what. Unless we're able to think of a way to avoid this. A cashless future is all great and swell, but if crypto wants to truly be the currency of the future, it needs to think of a way to outmaneuver this.

And of course, it always has to be a step ahead of getting wiped out entirely, or maybe, one day, we'll all find ourselves here:
