thank's @babarakas I will have a look at them both. blockfolio looked a bit overcomplicated and I can see that for trading it's really useful. In fact it looks like it's possibly the most sophisticated. I haven't seen the coinmarketcap app. I will take a look. I really like that you can download it and if it's not the right one you can just zap it !

Blockfolio is not as complicated as it seems. It's actually pretty simple. You pick ur coin and it's trading pair, you can also pick the exchange you purchased from. after a day or two of use you'll be fine. Yes that's the best part about these apps you can delete if ur not happy with them.

thanks for the tips. it is appreciated. All I really want from an app is a simple realtime aggregator.. (I put in the amount of coins I hold and it adds them all up & gives me a live price overview).. like cryptomillionaire does but with support for more than the top 100 list and with new tokens too.

What particular coin(s) are you looking to ad to Crypto Millionaire? This is a very new app, we are still experimenting with it and adding features to it. There's an update coming this week-end, we are adding charts and other goodies

that's my kind of comment @cryptoeagle. tokens; ethbits, ppy, csno, ats & popular lower rank coins like Emc2, groestlcoin, golem. It is great by the way. I like the thinking behind the passive strategy and I can't believe other apps don't have a function to just add the amount of coins you hold and let the app aggregat and track them!

to be honest everything in the top 150-200 would be a great addition. it's also much more likely (feelgood) factor that people have 1,000,000th of lower ranking coins and although they a lower chance of becoming a global reserve currency, you can see the appeal of those juicy little green ticks ! :_

If you ever want to commission an animated explainer to promote your app (60-90 second animated explainers are worth their weight in crypto gold) check out my company www.shroomstudio.com

The "appeal of those juicy little green ticks" haha, I love them so yes I can definitely see it :) I'm looking to do a short video for the app but I have to recover some of the investment on it first. It may turn out to be a dud so I'm monitoring it for now. Will definitely come back to you once the money is in. So far numbers and reception have been great so I'm keeping my fingers crossed

well let's see if I can do a write up next week. bump up those installs a bit. I can see the app is ad supported. surely that's quite lucrative if the downloads on active devices goes up. my theory about the green ticks worked out. if you add lower ranking coins to your portfolio list, you get more of the green zing feeling. of course that's tempered with the knowledge that they have a lower chance of becoming supercoins but if you pick new projects carefully, you can back winners ! excellent. I think we could do a really handy promotional animation with screenshots, simulated app experience and using your existing design assets in after effects. when you recoup the money, let's chat. I like the way your logo reminds me of the game monopoly :)

Yep, 1,570 installs may sound like a lot but it's still very low. To achieve the sort of income that allows me to keep growing the app I need to hit at least 50,000 installs, hopefully 100K. The graph is certainly encouraging so far, we'll see.

For future updates we will give the user an option to control the amount of coins they want to show up. For people in first world countries refreshing many coins is not a problem but in the third world with crappy data plans it quickly ads up, so we'll leave it up to the user.
