My First Post
Hi everyone,
My name is Mike Miller. I'm a day trader that transitioned from traditional markets to cryptocurrency around 2 years ago. Right now my portfolio consists of around 75% cryptocurrency because I truly believe in the underlying technology in a lot of these different cryptocurrencies.
Short term I'm bearish until I see a significant trend reversal. I believe the market makers are trying to bleed the 'noob' investors out before they start buying again.
I trade based on Fibonacci retracements, MACD, RSI, Volume, and sometimes Elliott Waves.
I'm very passionate about trading and I've always helped my friends and family so i decided to create a cryptocurrency trading website. Please check it out to see some of my past trades.

I'm looking forward to learning from some of the ideas you post on steemit. Do you have a tradingview account?
Yes, but I don't share on my TV account sorry. Check out my website for trade signals.
Wow. Your reputation is at 51 from 25 on your first post. How in the world is that possible. Give me some of that Luck 👍👍

Welcome to Steemit :)
Welcome to steemit Buddy. The right tag to use is #introduceyourself in case you find time to make another post, use that to announce your arrival on steemit
Happy Steeming

Thanks for the tip. I'm still trying to learn my way around steemit :)
What determines what category it shows up in? because i can use the #introduceyourself within the page text, or I can use #introduceyourself in the tags at the bottom.
Question 2, I just signed up for busy.org which i guess is owned by steemit? I had to use my 'ACTIVE' private key to sign in. That's what someone used on YT, hope I made the right choice.
Yes you are safe using your active key on Busy.org (slightly easier or more intuitive user interface than Steemit, and posts are mirrored to the other site, no matter which one you use). So long as SteemConnect is your intermediary, you are safe giving it an Active or Posting Key. Don't use your master key except on Steemit when you're transferring funds, etc - i.e., only when steemit.com asks - and always double check the url bar. Occasionally you'll hit a phishing link that looks like Steemit, that wants to trick you into signing in, but they're stealing your pw to drain your funds.
Almost any question you have can be answered by Googling, just put Steemit in the question and you'll find usually lots of matches - pay attention to the more recent ones as things can change.
Enjoy!
I'm just a few days "older" than you on Steemit...so much to learn. Lots of helpful people will guide you...I've really enjoyed starting down this road.
First, the first tag you use at the bottom determines where your post shows up. The other 4 tags just help people find your posts during searches.
Secondly, your steemit account has about 4 password or codes. Try not to always use the master password always, you can use the others and still access steemit from other platforms. You can see it under settings.
Lastly, try follow good steemians, they might post some good tips you probably need from time to time

Appreciate the advice :)
Hi Mike.
Welcome aboard. Fair warning that it takes time to get some traction here. I've made some, but not great progress here. I am a little disappointed in the lack of comments people make. Perhaps that's just me though.
right now, as for BTC and others, I'm bearish and recommend a trade strategy based on increasing your BTC holdings rather than worrying about the dollar value. I expect for the next three weeks we will be approaching BTC:$5k.
ahh, the good ol' accumulation on the dip strategy. Yeah, I see us going down to around $5k as well. I just hope we don't have sideways trading because that's when it's hard to make money. Volatility is a traders friend.
Moderate volatility can be useful for when working with bots. The whale tail splashes often need people intervention though.
Yes, I work with bots too ;)
I use Gunbot. I'll be creating a review for it shortly. Follow me @altcointrading for updates.
I've been writing my own. I needed to so I could understand how it all worked. I had been involved with crypto about 5 years ago, but due to a massive relationship change, coughdivorcecough, I had to end that sort of thing for a while. I came back and things are...different, but the same.
Bot behavior is very, no wildly, apparent and even predictable. It's been fun learning this again.
Already followed.
Welcome Mike glad to have you here and look forward to using you as a source.
