Coinbase reacts to the high demand
Anyone using Coinbase have probably been frustrated due to the ongoing issues that's been lately
with their service being down from time to time and payments taking longer then usual and even transactions taking extra time.
Coinbase CEO wrote this blogpost yesterday on how they will focus and to improve the service during Q3 and putting feature changes on hold for at least Q4.

Indeed it is and also shows that they take this seriously, they are of course scared of having an competitor coming and taking customers from them.
