TRANSFERGO INCLUDES EXCHANGE OF CRYPTOCURRENCIES IN ITS PLATFORM OF REMITTANCES
TransferGo, a UK company that is dedicated to sending remittances abroad has added the cryptocurrency exchange service. At this moment only five of the cryptocurrencies with more market capitalization will be able to be exchanged, which are:
Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), Ripple (XRP), Bitcoin Cash (BCH) and Litecoin (LTC).
The decision of the company to implement the exchange of cryptocurrencies on its platform was taken due to the high demand and requests received from its users.
TransferGo started its remittance services in 2012. The company has had a great growth and at this moment it has partnerships with 30 banks from different countries.
The greatest success of TransferGo has been to reduce substantially the time and expenses that a shipment of money can cause when processing it from a bank. Bank transfers that would take several days or even a week to get from one country to another are transferred through TransferGo platform in a matter of hours.
Qiwi, one of Russia's largest payment providers, through its subsidiary Qiwi Blockchain Tehnologies (QBT), also plans to offer cryptocurrency exchange services for next year 2019.
As we see more and more companies from different sectors are adopting blockchain technology to modernize and improve their services. Also in the financial sector the blockchain has great applications such as those of these two companies that will offer their cryptocurrency exchange services.
