Microsoft Azure added the product easy NXT to its cloud service
Microsoft, throughout the program Baas (Blockchain-as-a-Service), has added the product easy NXT to its cloud service Microsoft Azure. Now the developers will be able to create their own nodes NXT without big efforts, fulfilling only a few simple steps.
Peculiarities of NXT Blockchain
The NXT Core development team has created its own blockchain with open source code, which was launched as far as November, 2013. Among other crypto-currencies, NXT differs by the fact that they were the first to use the mining PoS-regime. In addition, a platform has a possibility to create personal applications on the basis of NXT blockchain.
In July, the NXT Core development team announced about the creation of the pattern for the so called “smart transactions” – smart contracts, developed to increase the safety of transactions that are passing through the blockchain and reduce the price of their conducting. Three years of work over the code and extended testing period have given a perfect result – a strong instrument for convenient and easy creating of smart-contracts.
Right now there is a possibility to use pattern commercially in any business sphere. However, one will be able to enjoy the whole functionality of “smart transactions” only in the next version of NXT blockchain – Ardor, the release of which is planned for 2017. For the investments in the platform Nxt Foundation released its own tokens NXT, and the capitalization of the company is now over 11 million dollars, which allows it to take 22nd position in crypto-currency rate list.
Microsoft Azure Becomes a Center of Gravity for Blockchain Projects
So, Microsoft Azure becomes a very attractive service for the big amount of crypto-currencies, which are eager to use all the benefits of cloud existence. At the moment, the members of BaaS projects are Augur, Emercoin, Factom, Radium, and Monero. In March Microsoft has added to its application web-store the app BlockApps, which is a platform for developing personal applications built on the Ethereum technology.
