Estonia's mysterious company informs the SEC that it plans to launch an ICO to raise $ 180 million
A little-known company in Estonia wants to raise up to $ 180 million from a SAFT sale, show public records.
A Securities Free Offer Notice published on June 4 through the US Securities and Exchange Commission's EDGAR document system shows that a company called NewTech Myning is seeking to increase its funds by selling what is effective by promising the distribution of tokens in a future moment.
So far, several startups and blockchain projects have raised money using the SAFT model.
According to the form, the offer is for the "sale and issue of rights to receive GoWeb tokens in the future through a Simple Contract for Future Tokens."
But as it stands, there is little information about the company involved or its intended signal.
Company registration information published online indicates that NewTech Myning was first established in March.
Efforts to contact the company prior to publication were unsuccessful. If NewTech Myning is able to raise $ 180 million, that would represent one of the highest token sales to date.
