Achain - The perfecting of forks
Achain.... a very promising project which have already forked successfully and tested out their fork theory.
As a result, the AChain project may very well become the go-to team if somebody wants advice or help forking.
It will eventually become possible to use/trade ABitcoin (forked already), AEthereum, ARootstock, ALitecoin, and so on, which are the forks they plan to execute in the future.
It only takes a small team of people to fork AChain into something else entirely. This will create another influx of hard-forked currencies, but they will all have even less to do with the original currencies than most current hard forks do. After all, ABitcoin has nothing to do with the Bitcoin we know, although that may not necessarily be a bad thing. When the fork was completed, the estimated value of ABTC was 150$ but the huge market crash got it down to 30$. It sold on OurDax for 30$ but fairly quickly went down because of dumping unfortunately.
They gave 1:1 ratio of ABTC to ACT holders. And this is not their last fork. They already talked about the next fork: BitcoinOS (http://www.bitcoinos.io/).
There is a lot more to AChain than just its forking technology, though. It is a Singapore-based company with mainly a Chinese team. It is a blockchain ecosystem first and foremost, which also has its own set of distributed applications or DApps (already 10 DApps).

They also got a community and a forum on their website, where weekly updates come out.
I think that generally this fork was a very good thing for Achain for at least a few reasons: - It was the first practical application of the fork theory, so it’s not just theoretical any more; - Achain resisted the fork, it didn’t dissapear; - They showed that the price between the newly forked coin and ACT doesn’t need to be related, they can follow their own path; - They introduced and tested the first mechanism to give value to a newborn coin thanks to mathematical prediction and features. The next big step for Achain is a marketing campaign targeting the Western countries.
They are attending Bitcoin Super Conference. https://www.achain.com/
This is my two cents on the matter. Hope you'll like it
