To Mine or Not to Mine Steem...That is the Question. I prefer Mining Bytecoins and then Transferring To Steem.
Mining Steem seems like a difficult proccess to many people especially those that aren't so computer savvy. This is the main reason that I decided to just stick with mining Bytecoins then when I build up enough coins I convert them and use them to purchase Steem. Minergate is an awesome little mining app with a very easy to use GUI. I keep it running in the background on all my home computers and even with the Minergate app on my phones.
You can't expect to get rich with this process but with 2 laptops and one droid I maage to earn a couple to a few dollars a day worth of Bytecoins. I just let it build over the course of a month. It is amazing what this can add up to especially when you use the profits to invest in other crypto currencies that are on the rise.
Try this out if you are financially strapped but are dying to get into the whole crypto currency game or if you just want to increase your #Steempower .
Hope this helps some of you Steem Heads out there.
Have a wonderful day.
Thank you so much for sharing this!
Thanks for the heads up...
How much should you build up before converting here?
Don't know if there is a set answer to that but just as much as possible. I messed up on my calculations to be honest and started mining Dash coins because they are a lot more valuable, but it is the exact same proccess and still uses minerGate. :)
So, how do you do it?
Just go here and download the app. Self explanatory after that :) https://minergate.com/
When I get more steem, I'll upvote...thanks for the info. I'm new at this whole game. ;)
It wont allow me to edit this post so thought I should add this here for the sake of honesty and transparency...lol... You can't expect to get rich with this process but with 2 laptops and one droid I manage to earn a about 30 cents a day worth of Bytecoins. I just let it build over the course of a few months. It is amazing what this can add up to in a year especially when you use the profits to invest in other crypto currencies that are on the rise. If you would like to mine a more valuable coin with Minergate you could always mine Dash Coins. I started mining those recently when I learned that I had miscalculated the conversion on Bytecoins.
