RE: 5 Major cryptocurrency trends in 2018
Lack of liquidity is an issue, indeed. But it will be relived with time.
As of friction on entering and exiting... Why? It's much simplier than get a bitcoin. I'm personally getting in crypto thru the BTS. This is only one option to do this anonymously + with only 1% comission. If this is "mush friction", than what is smooter? Maybe I missed something?
My rationale is that the weak point of Bitshares (as well as other DEX'es now) is a high risk of liquidation. Imagine at some point a big part of BitShares holder decides to liquidate their assets. I'm not saying that this will happen, but the risk is here. And this is a major problem of all stablecoins Tether, Bitshares, etc.
I just looked at the current trading volumes, and they really grew. Perhaps it is worth playing around with BTS with small amounts, especially since there is an opportunity to write a simple bot for trading on these charts.
But almost every other crypto have a same problem. What if Satoshi decides to liquidate his bitcoin? Not so scary.
No need to be all in. But it's an interesting project in my opinion and there is not too many DEXex now to choose.
