2018: The Year of the Crypto
As a historian looking back a few hundred years from now 2018 may be the pivotal year in a new human civilization. This may rival agriculture, the industrial revolution and the development of the internet. We are on the cusp of computer code reshaping the world. Blockchain technology has the potential to change all aspects of our lives in ways that we haven't even imagined. We may no longer need bankers and lawyers, all human transactions that require trust or a middlemen may disappear. It is really cool to sit back and watch history being made...we live in very interesting times!
