Interest in the crypto industry will double in the near future

Ipsos conducted a study of the perception of crypto-currency and blockage by residents of Europe, Australia and the USA, and concluded that interest in these technologies will double in the near future.

The last such study was already conducted from March 26 to April 6, 2018 - it covered 15 countries, each of which was interviewed by about a thousand respondents.

As the new study showed, 66% of Europeans heard about crypto-currencies, 35% agreed that the crypto industry is "the future of online settlements". Also 35% assumed that within a year the cost of crypto currency will increase.

In each country that participated in the survey, the share of awareness of the crypto industry is equal to or greater than 50%. Austria and Poland have the highest rates - 79% and 77% respectively. In the USA, 57% of respondents heard about crypto-currencies.

The survey showed that Europeans who use mobile banking are more likely to own crypto-currencies.

It also became known that, in the opinion of the majority of respondents, crypto-currencies are a more risky form of investment than real estate, government bonds or the stock market.
