bitcoin vs altcoin

Watch the market. What do you think? Is there any relation with bitcoin and altcoin? It seems when bitcoin go down all altcoin goes down too and when its up all altcoin up?
I found even its related to NASDAQ 100.Ah! Where there is a money there is whale always!
