Trying to use Steepshot didn't work either. So I’m back to the good ol’ fashioned [steemify] web browser. (Don’t first to scroll all the way down for the colorblind photo.)}

As hinted at in my previous post, I’m dusting off the proverbial cobwebs from my cryptocurrency slash blockchain activity.

It appears that Binance doesn’t have an iOS app anymore or I’m dumber than I look. And I’m still trying to get my 2FA reset over there. Cross your fingers for me. (As of posting this I’ve regained access)

Thanks to Coinbase’s oversimplified Pavlovian style reward-learning, I’ve added a minuscule amount of crypto-knowledge and currency to my modest portfolio.

As a result I’ve encountered BAT’s Brave browser, that promises super private, secure and relatively ad-free services. It has built-in ad/tracker/popup/etc blocking. You get rewards for clicking on ads catered to your browsing habits but they are limited to quiet bottom corner pop-up style notifications that you can easily ignore. With these rewards you can “tip” websites that you visit. Sounds cool but the coins in the browser are unidirectional. Meaning you can’t withdraw them... feel free to google, or duck duck go, it for more info.

Anyone remember or even heard of Lympo? It’s a blockchain-backed, cryptocurrency-rewarding fitness tracker. The coins are earned by completing walking/running challenges on the app. Either through active gps tracking or by syncing a step/fitness tracker. The coins can be exchanged for various items on the in-app shop for around 100LYM / USD. However, just like the Brave browser, whatever you earn in the Lympo app is currently unidirectional — aka stuck on the app’s wallet.
