PayPal and Venmo Expand Their Crypto Offerings with Chainlink and Solana-06-04-2025

PayPal has revealed that it will be broadening its cryptocurrency services by adding Chainlink (LINK) and Solana (SOL) to the platforms for both PayPal and Venmo users. Starting in the upcoming weeks, users will be able to purchase, store, sell, and transfer these newly added tokens directly through their accounts. May Zabaneh, PayPal’s Vice President of Product for Blockchain, Crypto, and Digital Currencies, mentioned that this move was motivated by customer feedback, aiming to enhance user flexibility and provide more options for digital currency transactions.

Chainlink is well-known for facilitating advanced blockchain applications via data interoperability and cross-chain functionality, while Solana is widely used to support various decentralized applications and projects.
