Crypto Surfing 7/10/2018 (Ethereum ETF , market viewpoint, hedging fail , predicted market dump good, Ledger Live)

--Morning--

this morning once again the market was looking healthier and over all i am seeing good signs despite what i will mention later. listened to modern investor... man that guy can talk about the same thing in a loop forever... but he covers alot of topics so i guess i'll keep listening.

--Market dumps but it is ok--

so the market dumped at $6750 down to $6330 and is now at $6390. but it is holding so far at a new major support line around $6300 which is a good sign that we are reestablishing a base. generally the market looks like it is headed upward. since the last bit upswing we have been forming a pattern called an ascending wedge which is where the bottoms grow higher faster that the toppers grow higher making an arrow pointing up shape. the arrow doesn't always reach a point though. this typically signs for a big drop which did happen, however we hit the support line so i am optimistic. other tech analysts people i have seen on twitter are seeing a broader market pattern of a reverse head and shoulder which is a bullish positive pattern, something that signals a bull run soon to come.

--Hedging fail--

ok so in my last post i was going to hedge into USDT with ETH and BTC... however i was bearish then.... after all the news and the short upward run showing support i am feeling bullish. all i am hearing is positive news both regulatory and technology wise... now we just need the buyers... god i hope trump doesn't F this up like the trade embargo crazy stuff hes already doing with global commerce and markets. i am sure the commodities markets are going to see a hit from that no matter how great gold and silver stock looks right now. ... maybe trump will announce not so bad regulatory info one day...

i bailed on the hedge and got my money back ethereum... still waiting for my sale to go through on BTC to get my money back there.... i think i am just going to HODL and not try to trade.... if things go well I'd love to profit and buy some property next year.

--ehtereum ETF--

a lot of people are saying in 2019 there will be an ethereum ETF (Exchange Traded Fund) which is aparently a big validator in the financial space because it would allow you to buy ethereum and ethereum like technologies in a basket, so instead of investing in multiple different things, you spend your money on a basket of things that will cushion and diversify your hold on a market of similar things.

--Ledger Live--

Ledger has finally developed a product similar to the google wallet companion app to work with their products.... it is about time and it is way way better. soon ledger is saying that it will put out an update to allow alof of ERC20 tokens to be added to ledger wallet support as well.

this kind of thing is important because it shows that the technology for managing crypto and using it is getting better... it still isn't dumby consumer usage grade as fiat but it is getting there and that's what counts.
