Hello from San Diego, California. Im Michael, founder of RideXshare. Blockchain Technology is awesome for its decentralized nature and bringing people closer together without the middle man. Right now theres a huge monopoly in the ride share industry with mainly two companies that control everything! From who you get a ride from, to how much each ride cost, to how you get payed by these companies and they take a huge cut when you do all the work!! RideXshare is bringing the power to the people with a Dapp on your mobile device, that is completely peer 2 peer.
So hows it all work?
Instead of giving rides for people and taking that money and giving it to a company just for them to take a cut and return you less money you gave them. With Ridexshare you'll give rides for people and keep every penny earned. from the rider directly to the driver.
How will everything be negotiated between rider and driver?
The driver will create a driver profile and will make his rate, done in RideXshare tokes per miles (i.e. Bob charges 10 RXS per Mile, 10 RXS = 1 dollar, so in this case 1 dollar per mile)
Now the rider creates a profile and looks for drivers near them via map or by list showing: driver price rates per mile, how many successfully completed rides, and how much other riders enjoyed there experience via comments and 5 star rating system. Like a certain driver? Want to request for them? Go for it send them a message through the app and arrange a time for pickup.
So who can be a Driver?
You!! no matter what your driving, if it runs and drives and you run and drive.. you can be a driver!! You just need to signed up with name and picture of you and your car and license plate #
