The MegaETH Issue

When crypto first came out the main focal point of it was a way to get back at the middle men such as banks etc and allow people to take control of their finances again and privacy to financial freedom. However now in 2025 it feels like that has been destroyed as people simply want profits and integration into the system it once set out to take over.

With these moves we are also seeing projects starting to care less and less about decentralization and more about just building something powerful that scales and develops fast. One of the major flaws of deactualization is just how slow things move compared to the centralized system and thus a new layer two of Ethereum called MegaETH has emerged as a fully centralized option of Ethereum and has not plans to ever centralize.

But the question is will people really care or will a centralized options provide what Ethereum actully needs with fast scalable agile solutions?
