Let's not forget the Newbies! Episode 3: ALERT! ALERT! Bitcoin Gold scams (BTCg)
I came across this [ANN] for BTCG and it is completely FAKE. Someone is attempting to woo innocent new buyers by phishing for their Waves wallet address... while perpetrating the real Bitcoin Gold.
My guess is they found an exploit in the Waves wallet and they are building a list of victims. In any case, BTCg is a hard fork and cannot be airdropped.
