The World's Biggest Asset Manager, BlackRock, to Launch A Crypto Trading Platform and Accept Crypto as Collateral for Credit
BlackRock, which manages over $10 trillion in assets, began to "dabble" in cryptocurrency last year by holding bitcoin futures. This year, BlackRock announced a longer stride towards cryptocurrency adoption. Two new developments, not yet launched, would allow BlackRock clients to invest and hold cryptocurrencies and use them as collateral for credit.
