As we knew ,bcon is regarded as one of the safest way of investment and as an investor, I have read about how safe Bitcoin is, so I ask, how can this happen to a "safe" investment?

Sources claim that the address of the hacking cannot be traced and speculated that the hacking has been done by either Iran,North Korea , Russia or US.

“Bizarrely, they transferred those coins over using a wallet linked to the Bitstamp hack, which lead me down the rabbit hole somewhat and from there all of the transactions fell into place. Then, if you look at how the Bitstamp and Huobi funds [ Editor’s Notte: the latter has now confirmed there was no hack] were moved around afterwards they went to the same wallets, and were then split up with a lot of the coins being moved to BTC-e mostly in batches of 1000. 1000BTC of it was passed through a wallet that had previously been used for depositing at LocalBitcoins as well months prior,”

Bitcoin by itself is impressive secure, is so secure that you can see how money can be tracked, if autorites were interested on get them, they will eventually do, as you can track all wallet movements.

What is not safe? Public wallets services. A bitcoin wallet, is secure as you have the private keys to sign transactions, but public wallets and public exchanges like poloniex, bitfinex, xapo, coinbase, etc, etc. They have the private keys of your wallets stored on their web services, so is just a matter of hack those web services to have access to millions of public and private bitcoin keys, than later can be used to stole funds.

In the analog world, is the same as you having a external company managing your bank data details, and you just ask them for money or to transfer money, but they have the passwords, account numbers, etc.

If some thief gets that data from then, from any medium, you will lost everything and is not bitcoin fault! bitcoin by itself is secure, is the management companies who has problems.
