We are pleased to announce AltEx, formerly BTCPool.Exchange.

As our platform has evolved along with our understanding of our user base, it became
apparent we needed to look at the brand as a whole, btcpool.exchange was initially a mining
service today were so much more than that, so we took the time to re-brand our platform,
and were not even trying to hide our history, full disclosure is important.

Our loyal users know the struggles trials and tribbleations we've endured since we started
the service, from a bad deal with a russian coder for the software to a long development gap
and issues, but thats all changed, Since february we have been working hard on version X,
it brings with it a new full time coding team, based in the UK and AU, hundreds of security
fix's, performance improvements and a whole host of new features.

New Features
This is not a comprehensive feature update list, however we feel there worth special mention.

-- Coin Voting & Insta List, Coin voting has been hugely popular although it hasnt driven
alot of users to the site to date, partly due to our dated old look and the problems with the
old platform, the new system will retain the voting by BTC but will add the option to place
votes with the very coin you want to get listed, there will also be a brand new insta list
feature, where for a fixed fee you can get any coin listed for a guaranteed 180 days.

-- SockChat, brand new fully intergrated chat service no more 3rd party, finer control of users,
there are no filters on chat your welcome to say anything you like, we will address this should
it get out of hand, we firmly believe everyone is entitled to there own opinion.

-- Improved Graphing and Statistics, we have performed miracles in terms of our stats and graphs
whilst there still older am charts, we are working hard on StockCharts and HighCharts, you should start
to see these in the coming weeks as the roll out begins, they are not active yet, as there is simply
not enough data to produce a "complete" graph period.

-- Dice and Bones games, just like satoshi bones or any other dice game, only we support any coin that's
listed on the exchange, the system is proverbially fair, for dice the number 50 belongs to the house, a similar deal
with bones where betting starts at less than 61k with 61,000 thru to 65,000 belonging to the house, we are working hard
to add blackjack and poker to the system, and perhaps a game or two TV shows many moons ago, for example Price Is Right.

-- Tipping (Vouchers)
Some of you will remember our old voucher system, well that's gone because it never worked as intended not even salvaged
we have a brand new tip system, allowing you to transfer or send coins to any registered user, in a matter of seconds,
all with zero fees.

-- Market Improvements
All markets have had a lot of minor tweaks and changes to allow for faster order executions, orders are no longer executed
on a cycle, when you place your order now, you automatically trigger the trade engine which will execute instantly if sufficient
orders are in place.

-- All New UI
The biggest complaint has always been the CRAP website, to many cooks in the kitchen makes a mess and that's a prime example, the
new site is superior in every single way, will scale out better into the future and offer a seamless experience rather than something
that is seriously clunky and counter intuitive.

== API - yes at long last we've completed a very basic API, we need your feedback here to expand and improve, we want to build
the most comprehensive API out there, and do so securely, so if you would like to see additional calls get in touch explain what you want
if we feel its viable every effort will be made to implement it.

-- Stake

We have enabled staking on all of our wallets, we enabled this on 16th 08 2016, in the coming weeks users will start to notice
daily balance updates as stakes are counted an distributed on a very simple premise, every 24 hours stakes are counted and distributed
per coin per user and paid based on your current balance, for clarity, no payments under 1 whole coin will be made, so if you have
a dust balance you wont earn stake sorry, this feature will not be on or off, its on for everyone at all times, altex charge a fee
for processing stake as you can imagine its rather intensive managing 50 wallets that stake thousands of times a day.

THIS FEATURE IS NOT ACTIVE, STAKES ARE BEING TRACKED HOWEVER, as we prove each part of the process will move along, all stakes earned
in the mean time will be counted and manually added to a given market at the lowest possible price of 0.00000001 each so everyone
has a chance of getting themselves some good deals.

Welcome everyone to Altex where we basically pay you to trade with us (Note most users will find there stake earnings mean trading becomes essentially
ZERO FEE)

Future Updates
Development will never stop and now were in our stride you can expect alot of changes and improvements, Altex will offer more than
just exchange services as time progresses, with many new automated build services.

User Verification
We are opening up initial verification systems and Fiat markets, YOU DO NOT NEED TO COMPLETE verification, unless you want to trade in fiat currencies
or future fiat withdrawals.

Residents of United Kingdom (Including B,O,T) and Residents of Australia and New Zealand will be able to complete verification, please note
verification can take up to 7 days.

A side note, we reserve the right to Cancel or Demand your verification / re-verification at any time, this is done at random and is in place
to protect you, not take anything from you.

Account Safety
Any user storing excessive coin qtys on our platform may find there account banned, this is not to take your coins but prevent you from using
our services, we've set a very very high threshold, and should you be banned, we will contact you by registered email, and arrange for you
to access your account to withdraw your balances, untill you come under the threshold, there's no limit to temporary storage of coins, but any balance
that's excessive for more than 72 hours will trigger this action [Were telling you upfront and here in the interest of full disclosure as it could
easily be misinterpreted.

You will need to move your balances from the old BTCPOOL to AltEx unfortunately due to some legacy issues we are unable to re-use the existing database. BTCPool will remain available for at least 60 days to allow you to move your balances over, the markets on BTCPool have been suspended you will get a blank page unless you have open orders in which case youll be asked to cancel them[/color]
