Augur Completes Token Swap, Removes Pauseability
Source: Medium
Augur has removed pauseability from its REP token contract following the completion of the token migration. Any updates in the future will require deployment of a new smart contract and an opt-in hard fork. We expect (or at least hope) to see more of this kind of behavior in the future as coins respond to user concerns about the amount of control supposedly "decentralized" solutions still maintain.
Launch: MyCrypto Desktop Application
Source: Medium
MyCrypto has launched their desktop app, available for download at the source link above. The desktop app will support Ledger, Trezor, and Metamask, and users will no longer be able to use private keys, mnemonic phrases, or keystore files - mechanisms with the most vulnerability - on MyCrypto.com.

Source: Korean Ministry of Strategy and Finance
South Korea held its 4th Vice Ministerial meeting on ‘Growth Through Innovation’ yesterday to discuss planning and support for national investment projects. Among the topics covered was a plan for tax reduction and technology support for companies exploring blockchain innovations. They also have a task force exploring barriers which have made it more difficult for corporations to innovate, including regulatory restrictions.
Game.com to (Kind Of) Offer Tokens for Gameplay
Source: Medium
Game.com will be offering what essentially amounts to the FCOIN model for gaming - gamers will be able to mine a new General Token (GT) from playing on the platform. Well, kind of - the amount of GT players receive is directly correlated to how much Game.com token (GTC) they spend playing. They will not be offering an ICO; details on how to get GT before the August 9 launch, as well as descriptions of available games, can be found at the source linked above.

Re: MyCrypto, I wonder if MEW will follow them in reducing the vulnerable types of access in their online version. At the moment MEW still has these more vulnerable access options available.
Hopefully, mew still has more users and a bigger target
