We need the Grace of God.

In the midst of the difficulties we face, we can discover God's grace and love.
7 But to each one is given the manifestation of the Spirit for the benefit of others. 8 For to one is given through the Spirit the word of wisdom; to another the word of knowledge according to the same Spirit; 9 to another faith by the same Spirit; and to another gifts of healing by the same Spirit. 10 To another the working of miracles; to another prophecy; to another discerning of spirits; to another various kinds of tongues; and to another the interpretation of tongues.
1 Corinthians 12:7-10
Generally when we hear a person talk about some experience in his life, what is it that gives credibility to this person's words? Precisely, we measure what he says according to his experience and from this we qualify the message as true or not, as genuine or a true fallacy. Based on this we read Paul's message speaking of the sufficiency and power of God and we ask ourselves this question: Can Paul really speak of this with authority? We can go through all of Paul's letters and answer this question with an absolute YES.
22 Are they Hebrews? So am I. Are they Israelites? So am I. Are they descendants of Abraham? So am I. 23 Are they ministers of Christ? (I speak as if I were crazy.) I am more; in labors more abundant; in stripes without number; in prisons more often; in danger of death many times. 24 Of the Jews five times I received forty stripes minus one. 25 Three times I was beaten with rods, once I was stoned, three times I was shipwrecked, a night and a day I was shipwrecked on the high seas, 26 often on the roads, in perils from rivers, in perils from robbers, in perils from my own country, in perils from the Gentiles, in perils in the city, in perils in the wilderness, in perils at sea, in perils from false brothers; 27 in labor and toil, in sleeplessness often, in hunger and thirst, in fastings often, in cold and nakedness; 28 and besides other things, what is pressed upon me daily, the concern for all the churches.
2 Corinthians 11:22-28
We read that Paul in his account speaks of the different difficulties he faced: he was beaten, imprisoned, threatened, stoned, he experienced reds and shipwrecks, in addition to that he had what he called a thorn that kept him in pain.
And lest I should be exalted above measure through the abundance of the revelations, there was given to me a thorn in the flesh, a messenger of Satan to buffet me, lest I should be exalted above measure;
2 Corinthians 12:7
Perhaps we may simply think that God keeps Paul or his servants in perfect health, but let us remember that when the apostle Paul prayed and asked God for relief, God answered him in a way that was unexpected for both Paul and us: "My grace is sufficient for you."
9 And he said to me, 'My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.' Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ's power may rest upon me.
2 Corinthians 12:9
